Whilst travelling through Japan, Darren identified the personalised guest experience and the connection to local produce that he feels we should have more of in Sydney.
F or diners looking for a more Ala Carte selection. They can wander to Keel Bar upstairs and find a Japanese bar menu from IzyAki with gorgeous rice bowls, tempura, pork belly skewers and more.
Awarded Bar of the Future, Daintree Sydney, is excited to support this initiative as an opportunity to bring attention to the beautiful abundance of local produce and bringing people together to experience a unique dining experience. The venue will continue to donate a massive 50% of its profit back to the Daintree rainforest, to rewild and return the land to the Kuku Yalangi people.

Darren templeman is the head chef and helms the front counter here at Izy.Aki. He greets, presents the course and sources all of our "best of the best" produce.
Our resident sommelier, cocktail expert and host. Aurelien has years of experiece curating cocktails and pairing them with the dishes from the Kitchen team.
His experience includes his time with Darren at O bar.
